Delete Your Account

kalling is a Korean conversation practice app operated by SOUNDGYM. This page explains how to delete your kalling account, what data is removed when you do, and what we keep.
Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the kalling app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out. You will no longer be able to access your profile, call history, or any other account data.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us at soundgym@soundgym.io from the email address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. Please include the name or email you signed up with so we can verify the request. We will action it promptly, normally within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove the personal data associated with it, including:
- Your account details (name and email from Sign in with Apple or Google, and the provider account identifier).
- Your learning profile (Korean level, interests, tutor name, call time and days, timezone, language).
- Your conversation history — call transcripts and the grammar corrections, explanations, and translations generated from them.
- Your push notification tokens.
We do not store recordings of your voice at any time; call audio is streamed in real time and never saved.
What we keep, and for how long
We may retain a limited amount of information only where we are required to, for example subscription and transaction records needed for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or other legal obligations. Subscription billing itself is managed by Apple or Google; to stop future charges, cancel your subscription in the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account. Any retained information is kept no longer than necessary for those purposes and is not used to re-identify you for any other reason.
